ATLS, PALS, ACLS EP, AMLS, NERS, AIEM, EMOVA, Emergency Management of Severe Burns, Basic Assessment and Support in Intensive Care, Basic and Essential Surgical Training Skills, Critical Care Transport Program, Commercial Medical Repatriation, Introduction to Functional Medicine.
What current work/job do you do?
I provide remote, immediate, real-time medical assistance to people around the world involved in maritime or commercial aviation, transporting the critically ill with fixed wing ambulance services and assisting with emergencies in local casualties in Gauteng.
What do you love most about Telemedicine?
I believe that everyone, irrespective of economic status, nationality or culture, should have full access to healthcare. Telemedicine has put the emphasis back on the patient and empowers patients to be committed to their own healthcare.
Anything else that patients might like to know about you?
I have a special interest in functional medicine. I’m also an avid weekend warrior (mainly on my mountain bike).

Telemedicine is easily accessible, convenient, and efficient in terms of time saving. Medical evolution in the making!
Anything else that patients might like to know about you?
I enjoy medical procedures, getting all involved. I have a special interest in paediatrics and Aesthetic Medicine. I also love connecting personally with my patients and getting to the roots of their issues.

I work as a Telemedicine Doctor, an Intensive Care Medical Officer and I also work as a helicopter EMS Doctor.
What do you love most about Telemedicine?
While there are some limitations in physical examination, the medium emphasises patient-doctor dialogue, candid conversation, and health education.

I have a keen interest in practising medicine outside of the traditional environments.

I have a special interest in health promotion and behaviour change through technology and media. I am creative at heart, passionate about music and visual arts.

What do you love most about Telemedicine?
I love the convenience of Telemedicine; Doctors and healthcare become more easily accessible to people. Irrespective of time or place, one has a direct line to medical care. I love how technology has made this possible.

I am a wife and mother of two children. My family are the cornerstone of everything I do. I am passionate about health and wellness and appreciate that human capital is our most precious commodity.
